Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play a vital role in completing the physical tasks of rebuilding and recovery. The Disaster Recovery Ministry works closely with local long-term recovery organizations to assist in recruiting and placing volunteers.
Volunteers can serve for as long as they are able – from a weekend to a week or longer.
A volunteer team typically has access to a church fellowship hall where they can use cots, air mattresses, etc., for sleeping, have access to shower facilities and use of a kitchen to prepare meals.
Once Disaster Recovery has matched the team with an area of need, the long-term recovery organization serving that area contacts the team leader to finalize the details of the trip.
There are currently no volunteer needs in Florida - praise God!
